Lead Artist at PARCA (Peterborough Asylum and Refugee Community Association)between April 2024 – Sept 2025

As part of residency at PARCA, my research lead me to spend time with women’s group, identify the interests and skills among the volunteers and service users. After the initial research phase, a series of workshops were developed and delivered at the community centre. These workshops and activities were centred around developing practical skills such a sewing and creating functional items that could be used at home setting, or shared with their families and children. The workshops were also a space where conversations were exchanged, fostering cultural exchange and friendships.
