This artwork is created in response to the long lockdown, heightened emotions experienced by many women around the world. This was a time of intense emotions from fear and disgust/Bibhatsa (expressed with repetitive cleaning of any surface), sadness and empathy (karuna) at the loss, peace/shanti when the world got locked away, wonder as we connected back with nature and heroism of all key workers who carried on with their work.
